Gates’ Latest

The feeling of the Southwest if strong in the latest work by Robert Gates, at the Jefferson Place Gallery, 1216 Connecticut Avenue NW through next Saturday. His first one-man show of new work in more than three years, it is composed entirely of paintings, watercolors and drawings, done during his sabbatical year, largely spent in Mexico and Arizona.
